Humanity's Team, Houston, Texas, a home for a New Spirituality

Welcome to the manifestation of a New Spirituality on planet Earth, right here in Houston.  Most folks associated with the so-called New Age are also familiar with the ideas of beingness and spiritual growth rather than doingness and activism as being the path to peace. But these two sets of concepts are not necessarily in conflict. You will find Humanity’s Team members not only in meditation and healing centers but also in organizations that seek to bring humanity into harmony with the Earth, and most importantly, with itself.

As a Worldwide organization, Humanity’s Team is made up of many local groups in cities and towns all over the world. These groups provide space and leadership for study groups, emotional support groups, and activist groups seeking to provide an opportunity for folks to shift their beliefs, just a bit, to accommodate the possibility for a more peaceful and a wiser humanity to evolve.

Humanity’s Team sees the continuation of fear and anger and all their products--war, violence and depravation--as curable through the education and enlightenment of humanity to the benefits of peace. In support of this mission, we embrace the following spiritual steps to peace, based on Neale Donald Walsch’s Conversation with God books:

The Five Steps to Peace:

  1. I acknowledge that some of my old beliefs about God and about life are no longer working.
  2. I acknowledge that there is something I do not understand about God and about life, the understanding of which could change everything.
  3. I am willing for new understandings of God and of Life to now be brought forth, understandings that could produce a new way of life on this planet.
  4. I am willing to explore and examine these new understandings and, if they align with my inner truth and knowing, to enlarge my belief system to include them.
  5. I am willing to live my life as a demonstration of my highest and grandest beliefs, rather than as a denial of them.
